Amal holds a double - bachelors degree in Computer Science and computer Engineering from New Jersey Institute of technology (NJIT) and a MBA in Global Business from NMIMS Institute in Mumbai, India.
He Started his career with Madison Square Garden in New York where he designed Oracle financial systems and helped integrate the reporting and accounting structure of the firm. He then was associated with Price Waterhouse Coopers (PwC) in Mumbai in India where he wrote whitepapers on various issues pertaining to the banking and financial sectors.
In 2007, he started his career in the recruitment industry with EmmayHR – a Randstad Company. Here he focused on client management handling the western India belt across industries closing accounts on search & selection and retainer models. Later in 2008 Amal joined Ambe International focusing on blue collar and executive search for the Oil&gas, construction and heavy engineering industries.
Identifying the need for training during 2008, he incorporated “PowerTrain Overseas Training” a training venture from Ambe International focusing towards training and skill development of blue collar categories in the Civil, Mechanical and Instrumentation disciplines. In a year the company had 7 training centers spread across India training 200+ candidates per month across various disciplines.
Later in 2009 Amal took over responsibility of Gulfpersonnel handling the middle east region – Dubai, Qatar and Oman. Gulfpersonnel focuses on Recruitment – Secondment, search & Selection along with Human Resources Management systems. GulfPersonnel also counts amongst its clients some of the largest and best organizations in the Middle East for its various services.
